KITCHEN HELPER
Qualifications:
- Applicant must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
- Applicant should be of good general health
- Applicant should understand that to be accepted, they must agree to abide by the
camp's rules and regulations and serve under the direction and supervision of the
designated camp personnel during the week(s) they are able to help
- Applicant should be willing to attend all scheduled training times and planning
meetings for camp staff
- Your character and conduct must always be Christ-like
- Applicant agrees to provide a clear Criminal Record Clearance Check, available
through your local police or R.C.M.P. detachment.
Job Description::
- assume a leadership role; campers will see you as a leader and you must live up to
that ideal
- function as part of a team to ensure success in the kitchen
- take direction from the Cook or Camp Manager
- recognize your limitations, asking the Cook for help in difficult situations
- maintain a clean, neat and appropriate appearance
- be on time for duties
- report any illness or injuries to the Cook or medical staff
- work with teams doing chores
- exhibit good manners
- be prepared to assist the Cook when asked
- will not leave the campgrounds without permission from the Camp Manager
Remuneration policy: Your service may count toward your own camp registration fees, on a "Day-For-Day"
basis, or toward your application for the Provincial Community Service Bursary. Please contact the Camp Manager for
further details.
