We now hold Letters Patent (Pursuant to the Companies Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. C-14, S.89) incorporating Canoe Cove Christian Camp Inc. Once we have the proper documents submitted to Canada Revenue Agency and approved, and have received a new Business Number for the new organization, we will call a Special General Meeting of the camp to proceed with the formal wrap-up of the financial affairs of the existing organization and the transfer of assets and debts (i.e. mortgage) to the new organization.
Following the conclusion of this Special General Meeting of the camp, we will hold an initial Special General Meeting of the Representatives of the Members of the new corporation, which will appoint a new Board of Directors and take on the business of Canoe Cove Christian Camp, Inc.
